Instructors Wanted

Introduction

Welcome to The Tree Bee Society of Great Britain. We are an award winning not for profit community interest company (CiC) with a strong environmental conscience and our core aim is to protect all of Great Britain’s Honey and Bumblebees.

Bee numbers worldwide are on the decline with Bee numbers down in the UK by an estimated 30% – a worrying statistic considering that a large percentage of our human food chain relies completely on Bee pollination! The Tree Bee Society of Great Britain CiC has always had a zero tolerance policy towards killing bees, sadly some other people, organisations and companies do not.

Tree Bee Training

In 2016 we developed our first beekeeping courses and rather than have us just saying that our courses are good we decided to get them accredited by an external independent training organisation United Kingdom Rural Skills (UKRS). Since then we have become an accredited training provider for UKRS and have expanded the range of accredited leisure courses that we offer, all of which have a rural or environmental theme.

Instructors

We are always looking for interesting people with interesting pastimes that they are passionate about and would like to teach others what they do. We plan to offer these courses via UKRS on a national basis, so if you think that you have something to offer us we can reward you with a generous training fee then please do get in touch with us.

Currently we are looking for instructors across the country to deliver these courses. Please click and download the full UKRS  course list that details all of the area of the learning that we would like to recruit part time instructors to deliver. Or if you can offer us something new please get in touch.
